I learned a lot from smokin' pot
Then again maybe not
Can't remember what I forgot
I do believe I'm shaking up our conceptions of reality
But goddamn if I don't got friends
Who forget where they were headin'
And they're lookin' every direction
And all they see is dead ends
Some of my friends are already talkin'
How they miss the old days
But they never seems to connect it
With their new ways
No they never think of changin' things
They just order up another drink
And the reasons why we're gettin' fucked up
End up not matterin' that much

But we all got friends who gotta get fucked up just to smile
