This night sky falling over me
Like a blanket pinning me to the ground,
And i can't breathe easily.
Rushed in much earlier tonight,
Feels like i'm going out too quickly.
What is wrong with me?
I'm waiting for the cool night air
To steal the breath from my lungs again.
Maybe it was my time.
Maybe this place wasn't meant for me.
It would be sunset, but the last rays are gone
And my eyesight begins to fade.
