The shadows call
Unknown voices echo from
Far beneath the earth
Cyledr cannot speak
Insanity has its grip
He begins to regress
To an animalistic form
With his eyes rolled back
Cyledr makes his way onto the battlefield
He begins to graze on plant
And corpse material
This former knight
Takes the bones from the victims of war
And sharpens their edge
While howling in tears
He impales himself causing
All but fatal wounds
Vomiting all he consumed
He writhes in suffering on the ground
But the shadows of the earth
Are only getting louder
Cyledr has visions of
Profound and profane beasts
Three headed demons
The size of castles
Devouring the remains
On the battleground
The demon's impale themselves
On the steeples of empires
With expressions of ecstasy
People who know this warrior
Try to help him
But the sickness of the mind
Cannot be overcome with care
Cyledr lashes out in rage
Causing those who attempt to aid
Flee in fear
He continues to eat the ground
And impaling himself with
The bones of the dead
There is no hope, no peace
For this former gladiator
Several weeks have passed and still
He continues to writhe
Among the waste of war
