Verse 1:
You've searched high and you've searched low,
you've been traveling to and fro.
Makes no difference where you go,
this one thing you should know,
that you'll never find nobody like the Lord.
Verse 2:
Has we wait upon that one special friend
who said, "I'll stay with you to the end".
But when the heavy weight it upon us,
then they soon forget their promise,
but you'll never find nobody like the Lord.
Bridge:
Now I know that you've got lots of friends who say,
"I'll stick with you through thick and thin",
but when it's thick or thin those friends get hard to find.
But there's one called Jesus and He promised,
"Lo I'm with you always even unto the end of the earth".
Verse 3:
If you are wise then you will follow this advise
and take Jesus as a friend for the rest of your life.
There's no other relationship so fulfilling,
no other friend so giving, no other one who really cares;
you'll never find nobody,
you'll never find nobody,
you will never find nobody like the Lord.
