I stand upon the scaffold
The belfry chimes its tune of woe
As I'm waiting to deliver
Mercy in the name of God
I'm like the Guardian of Eden
No One might trespass where I stand
Those who have lost their right of passage
I justify with bloody hand

They give their lives, their sins to purge
