I've been trying to erase my sin
And be a good Christian for all of my friends
But every time I'm done washing my hands
I fall and get dirty again
I go to Church with my best foot first
Gonna look my best with my Jesus t-shirt
I say the prayer, raise my hands in the worship
But somehow I feel even worse
Slay a lamb or raise my hands up high
But the chasm's far too wide
Cause there's nothing I can do but trust you
My High Priest died for me
To set me free, now I can sing
My High Priest sits in Heaven
Ain't no question I believe
Boldly, I approach the throne of grace
A sinner with the weight of all my mistakes
But my High Priest Jesus, he went in for me
Not without blood, that he told my story
In his hands, white blood on the mercy seat
And washed every sin for all of eternity
And through his death, buried me, and rose again
Curing me, worshiping
Now I'm in awe of this man, Jesus Christ
Who on the cross, he sacrificed his body
Like the High Priest did, a Lamb not spotty
Because his profession wasn't just a hobby
But this man was God, and the Lamb here
Yet Christ doesn't enter in once a year, but once forever
Watch those who believe into us
Through his bloodshed, are set free
Slay a lamb or raise my hands up high
But the chasm's far too wide
Cause there's nothing I can do but trust you
My High Priest died for me
To set me free, now I can sing
My High Priest, sits in Heaven
Ain't no question, I believe
He was tempted like as man
But our High Priest became our sin
What a faithful God and friend
And with his blood he entered in the tent for us
My High Priest died for me
To set me free, now I can sing
My High Priest sits in Heaven
Ain't no question, I believe
My High Priest died for me
To set me free, now I can sing
My High Priest sits in Heaven
Ain't no question, I believe
