It's hard to catch a falling star
When you don't even know where you are (today) from day to day today
We're drunk on animosity
Pretending that we know that we are okay.
We see the world in black and white
For simple minds are always (in the right mind) right all right all right
Surrendered to the paradigm
We hope that sanity will come again in time
The grievous and the grieving, sheep ready for shearing.
If the song is patriotic it drowns out all the bleeding.
The bully with his bullets, creeps in secret meetings.
Shower us with lies and lie about the meaning.
It's hard to see the road ahead
When you cannot help but feeling led astray astray astray
We're high on the hypocrisy
Pretending that we all know the righteous way
We see the world as right and wrong
Morality's a simple song to sing and sing and sing
It seems as though we are quite mad
But we are sane and everybody else was had
Don't look down because
