It's what I find when I'm on my own
In a ballroom all alone,
Guests around me fill the room
Yet silence rules in this gloom
Though they speak I cannot hear
All their words file past my ears
Should they find that I am near
All their words will disappear
And I would fly where no others have flown
Soar through the blue sky all alone
And nobody sees what I've seen
It's not a ceiling it's just a screen
A bird in the sky high above my head
High in the blue all he sees is red
Blood on the ground, in the sea, and the air
At a time of hunting it's hardly fair
As I watch it soar it sheds some light
On a topic as dark as night
That mankind set in his ways
Will destroy everything worthy of praise
Sadly, speculation does none too good
Action and reaction does more than I could
Should I talk and do no more
Pessimism props open the door
For reality I wouldn't pay
Optimism holds the quote of the day
A great injustice done by my kind
The world will fix it through us the blind
