You run to hide...you try to justify your sin.
You're feeling shame...
Because you've killed an innocent victim.
You can't forgive yourself.
You've done away with those responsibilities.
Now your a slave to those thoughts in your mind.
You can't forget your crime, it's time to leave your past behind.
You're sure not the worst of this world.
What about the daddy that still beats his little girl,
and you're such a great person,
but you've done something wrong along with everyone else,
in this place that we live in.
If God can forgive them I know he'll forgive your sin if you just ask Him.
He wants to be your friend, and help you through this.
No He doesn't like what you've done, you killed someone,
But if you give your heart to Him,
His mercies reach everyone, who knows they've done wrong,
and wants to try to change from there.
And God knows that no one's perfect.
He loves your will to try to do the best you can,
sure you will fall and slip up,
don't let it kill you, don't let it eat you up.
Because God wants to see you move on.
Smile on your face tomorrow,
and living your life with Him right by your side,
He'll always be there for you...
