each and every one of us was born to be
dreamers and dancers and poets and lovers of beauty
so why are we all not dreaming dancers?
when did we become the earth's cancer?
who can provide us with these answers?
I'm just asking...
wouldn't it be wonderful to wake up in the morning without fear?
to jump up singing and shouting ' I'm so lucky to be here"?
but there's always something heavey on our minds
some corporate greedy devil stealing time
oh, and too much religion makes us blind...

I'm dreaming of the way it should be
when we stop dragging our knuckles on the ground
and grow up out of this moral playground

There's a snapping, crackling tension running crazy down the line
there's witches reading water and wise men idly waiting for a sign.
but how much waiting can we excuse?
there's a price for always thinking win or lose...
there's really only one path we can choose...
