The acceptable face of death
As portrayed in the national press
Is dying for king and country
In your bloodied battle dress
Playing their 'games' of war
Means more death by the hour
But those in charge don't really care
They only crave more power
If it's religion, disease, starvation
Patriotism or war
They make you feel the guilty one
While they encourage more

Is endless cops and robbers
To uphold our morality
Good and bad, us and them
It's always divide and rule
Hypocrisy bears it's ugly head
When they use it to control

Can be heard on the radio
Just tune in Sunday mornings
To the 'Praise the Lord' show
We thank the lord God
While millions of others starve
