Amber Glow

Hello again, I've been here before.
Mirror stare, I've seen you before.
I was pulled down by the undertow, Couldn't get away.
Swimming in the holy water,
At least this way it's free when ever.
Caught out by the amber glow calling my name,
No one to blame.

Stepped outside my own front door,
No where I'd seen before.
I look around and I don't recall,
In my own back garden I lost my way.
Followed the amber glow.

Suicide pills mixed up on the ground.
I was far too high on headache pills to understand.
Drowning in the holy water,
At least this way I won't remember.
Caught out by the amber glow, erasing my name.
I've me to blame.

Nowhere I'd seen before.
I look around and I don't recall.
In my own back garden I lost my way.
Followed the amber glow.

If you're up for sale at next to nothing,
No one wants what ain't worth selling.
I was truly mistaken, in need of restoration.
Put myself in view and wide open,
Out of shape and badly broken,
Over come and rotten, from the amber glow.
