My morning sun got blocked by progress
There's a square inch for the children to play

Pictures of their age sake playing underground far away
Change the channel with the blink of a bright eye

And the kids control their new gods
in a world that isn't real
Save it all to memory and tomorrow they'll prevail
And the pre-recorded voices
Keep the minions at arms reach
And mindless archive music so we have no time to think
And the few in their gold towers
And the keepers of the keys
Live rules of their own making while
We're all on our knees
And the mouthpiece of the people
Speaks a language I don't know
But look at all out options now
